O lema da família de Kou Ichinomiya é “Nunca fique em dívida com ninguém”, mas depois de perder as calças e cair no rio Arakawa, ele rapidamente se vê em dívida com sua salvadora, a fofa e insana Nino (que por acaso mora embaixo da ponte).
